Job summary

Equinix seeks a Director of Product Software Architecture and Engineering to build and lead a new DevOps team delivering an AI and container management service for Equinix Managed Solutions. You will partner with product management, set SLOs, and integrate with global ordering and back-office systems to enable self-service and scalable enterprise availability.

Qualifications

Director-level experience managing managers and delivering multiple software products or services.
Proven experience leading DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering teams.
Strong operational experience delivering a highly available global service.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for Equinix's AI and Container Management Service.
Partner with Product Management to translate customer needs into platform capabilities.
Establish SLIs/SLOs, operational standards, and platform governance.
Drive automation across provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
Lead architecture and DevOps processes for Kubernetes/OpenShift-based managed services.
