We are looking for a Digital Workplace Engineer to join our IT team in Rotterdam and help deliver a secure, reliable and seamless technology experience for colleagues across the organisation.
This is a hands-on, business-facing role where you will combine technical expertise with a strong customer focus. You will work with modern Microsoft technologies, solve day-to-day challenges and help continuously improve the way our people interact with workplace technology. Working across Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, Windows 365, endpoint devices and collaboration technologies, you will play an important role in ensuring our colleagues can work productively and securely, wherever they are.
As our Digital Workplace Engineer, you will be a key point of contact between IT and the business, providing both onsite and remote support while helping to develop and improve our modern workplace environment. You will take ownership of technical issues from initial diagnosis through to resolution, support the lifecycle of workplace devices and services, and work closely with colleagues across IT, external partners and business stakeholders. Beyond day-to-day support, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to technology rollouts, automation, service improvements and the continued evolution of the digital employee experience.
You will ideally have 3–5 years’ experience within Digital Workplace, End User Computing, Desktop Support, Workplace Technology or a similar IT support environment. We are looking for someone who enjoys being close to the business, takes ownership of problems and combines strong technical knowledge with a genuine focus on delivering a great user experience. You'll ideally bring experience with Windows 11 support within an enterprise environment. Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint. Microsoft Intune and modern endpoint management. Windows Autopilot and device provisioning. Microsoft Entra ID, including users, groups and device management. Windows365 Cloud PCs or similar cloud‑managed workplace technologies. Endpoint security, compliance, patching and configuration standards. Meeting‑room, audiovisual and hybrid collaboration technologies. Device lifecycle and IT asset management. Joiner, Mover and Leaver technology processes. ITSM platforms and ITIL-aligned Incident, Request, Problem, Change and Knowledge Management processes. Supporting users across multiple locations or hybrid working environments. Working with managed service providers, vendors and external technology partners.
You are likely to thrive in this role if you are:
Experience or knowledge in any of the following would be an advantage: Advanced Microsoft Intune administration. PowerShell scripting and automation. Microsoft Graph API. Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. Conditional Access and Entra ID governance. Windows365 and Azure Virtual Desktop. Endpoint analytics and reporting. Enterprise application packaging and deployment. Version control and structured management of automation scripts. Cloud-first or Zero Trust environments. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 certifications or ITIL Foundation would also be welcomed.
English: Advanced professional proficiency.
Dutch: Fluent or near-native proficiency.
