Job summary

Resolvo Engineering B.V. is seeking an Application Specialist to translate customer needs into practical print applications for our digital presses. You will demonstrate capabilities, advise on best production methods, and support start-up and ramp-up across Europe.

The role is not a service engineer; you will focus on applications, substrates, workflows and colour management, with regular travel and customer-facing responsibilities. Fluency in English is required, German or French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial digital printing.
• Good understanding of print production and customer applications.
• Experience with colour management and print quality.
• Understanding of digital print workflows and workflow integration.
• Experience with substrates/media and their impact on print results.
• Ability to create and present convincing print demonstrations.
• Knowledge of UV inkjet is a strong advantage.
• Comfortable working directly with customers and production teams.
• Fluent in English; German or French is a strong plus.
• Willingness to travel regularly within Europe.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and run customer-specific print demonstrations.
• Develop print samples and application scenarios based on real customer requirements.
• Advise customers on the best way to produce their applications on the digital press.
• Support customers during production start-up and application ramp-up.
• Analyse print results and help improve quality, colour consistency, productivity and workflow.
• Work with substrates, inks/toners, colour management and digital print workflows.
• Translate customer requirements into practical recommendations for Sales and Product Management.
• Capture application knowledge and turn it into guidelines, demo material and best practices.
• Support Sales during customer visits, exhibitions and demonstrations.
• Share application knowledge with colleagues across the European organisation.
• Help build and improve the application processes within a growing digital printing team.
