Job summary

Harnham is seeking a Data Infrastructure Analyst to help build and optimise a modern Azure data platform. You will design infrastructure as code and automate deployments, partnering with data and engineering teams on high-impact initiatives.

You will implement IaC using Terraform and Bicep, develop CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, and automate operations with PowerShell and Azure CLI, while embedding Databricks knowledge.

Qualifications

This is a contract opportunity for a Data Infrastructure Analyst to support the build and optimisation of a modern Azure data platform. You will play a key role in delivering scalable, automated infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, working closely with data and engineering teams on high-impact projects.

The Role

• Design and implement infrastructure as code using Bicep and Terraform across Azure environments
• Build and optimise CI CD pipelines within Azure DevOps to enable reliable deployments
• Automate operational processes using PowerShell and Azure CLI
• Work closely with data engineers to support platforms including Databricks and Azure data services
• Monitor and improve infrastructure performance, security, and reliability
• Document technical designs and support knowledge sharing across teams

Your Skills and Experience

• Strong commercial experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Bicep
• Proven ability to design and maintain CI CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Hands-on expertise across core Azure services including compute, storage, and networking
• Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell and Azure CLI
• Familiarity with modern data platforms, including Databricks
• Working knowledge of Python for automation or engineering tasks
