Job summary

A leading bespoke consultancy is looking for a Data Engineer to work on challenging data and cloud projects. You will help organizations in the Netherlands design, build, and optimize data platforms using Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree, at least 5 years of experience, and strong knowledge of Azure services. The role offers a gross salary of up to €6000, a performance-based bonus, and an extensive training budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake.
• Consultancy experience is a bonus.

We are working with a leading bespoke consultancy who are searching for a Data Engineer. You will work on challenging data and cloud projects for leading organizations in the Netherlands, helping them design, build, and optimize modern data platforms on Microsoft Azure.

What we expect from you

• Minimum HBO (Bachelor’s) degree, preferably in IT or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in a relevant field
• Strong knowledge of Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, and Azure SQL
• Experience with full-stack data solutions: data ingestion, transformation, modelling, and visualization
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., ARM/Bicep/Terraform) is a plus
• Consultancy experience and strong stakeholder communication skills is a bonus
• Fluent in Dutch and English
