Job summary

Happy Horizon is seeking a DevOps Engineer to strengthen our cloud platform practices across Azure and AWS. You design and implement CI/CD pipelines, manage infrastructure as code, and support deployments and incident response for internal squads and select client accounts.

This is a remote-friendly role in the Netherlands with optional visits to our Gennep office for planning sessions and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and cloud platforms.
• Ability to implement security baselines and secret management.
• Ability to document runbooks for on-call rotations.

Happy Horizon's Technology team delivers cloud-hosted applications, data pipelines, and integration layers for clients who expect reliable uptime and straightforward releases. As DevOps Engineer you strengthen our platform practices across Azure and AWS environments used by internal squads and select client accounts.

You will design CI/CD pipelines, manage infrastructure as code, and support developers during deployments and incident response. Security baselines, secret management, and cost monitoring are part of the role, as is documenting runbooks so on-call rotations stay manageable.

This is a remote-friendly position within the Netherlands, with optional visits to our Gennep office for planning sessions and knowledge sharing. You collaborate with backend developers, data engineers, and external client IT teams when VPNs, DNS, or access policies need alignment.
