Job summary

Doghouse Recruitment is seeking a DevOps Engineer to take full ownership of a complex cloud environment from the ground up. You will drive a strategic cloud migration using Kubernetes and Terraform to build a robust, scalable platform.

The role requires 3+ years of production experience with Kubernetes, strong CI/CD pipeline know-how (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI), and excellent communication in a small team. Dutch language is a plus, location Leusden, 3 days per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of production experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Deep knowledge of building and managing Kubernetes clusters (not just as a user).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a small, close-knit team.
• Dutch is a strong plus, but not a hard requirement.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of a complex cloud environment and build it up from the ground floor.

Do you want to be the key figure in a strategic cloud migration, building a robust and scalable platform with Kubernetes and Terraform?

My client, part of a larger group, is an established player in risk management software. From their office in Enschede, a tight-knit team of 15 works on the continued development of their platform. You'll join a team where, alongside the current DevOps Engineer, you manage the entire cloud infrastructure. The stack consists of Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure, with a planned migration away from Azure. Your work directly impacts the stability and scalability of a product used by large organizations, giving you the chance to make a real impact.

They're looking for a DevOps Engineer who not only understands the tools but can also build and improve the architecture behind them, with end-to-end ownership of the infrastructure.

Your profile:
