Job summary

Doghouse Recruitment is assisting in finding a DevOps Engineer for our client based in Enschede. You will own and evolve a cloud infrastructure stack with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure as part of a planned migration away from Azure.

You will join a small team of 15, collaborating closely with the current DevOps Engineer to ensure stability, scalability, and robust automation across the platform.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of production experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Deep knowledge of building and managing Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a small, close-knit team.
• Dutch is a strong plus, but not a hard requirement.

Ready to take full ownership of a complex cloud environment and build it up from the ground floor?

Do you want to be the key figure in a strategic cloud migration, building a robust and scalable platform with Kubernetes and Terraform?

My client, part of a larger group, is an established player in risk management software. From their office in Enschede, a tight-knit team of 15 works on the continued development of their platform. You'll join a team where, alongside the current DevOps Engineer, you manage the entire cloud infrastructure. The stack consists of Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure, with a planned migration away from Azure. Your work directly impacts the stability and scalability of a product used by large organizations, giving you the chance to make a real impact.

They're looking for a DevOps Engineer who not only understands the tools but can also build and improve the architecture behind them, with end-to-end ownership of the infrastructure.

Your profile

• Minimum 3+ years of production experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Deep knowledge of and experience building and managing Kubernetes clusters (not just as a user)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
