Job summary

Avance Consulting is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a hybrid role in the Netherlands. The project is Public Sector and requires fluent/native Dutch language proficiency. You will design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and support cloud-based deployments in Azure.

You will work with a team to automate release management, monitor applications, and implement best practices across infrastructure, applications, and data layers, ensuring secure, reliable delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
• Strong background in cloud deployments on Azure.
• Dutch language proficiency at fluent/native level.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Participate in establishing an automated DevOps release management pipeline; foster CI/CD mindset.
• Manage code deployments, fixes, updates and related processes.
• Improve infrastructure through automation: build/deploy/rollback/provisioning/forecasting.
• Use cloud-native monitoring tools for application insights and Azure monitoring.
• Implement and/or improve monitoring, dashboards, and alerting systems.
• Establish and implement DevOps best practices with colleagues.
• Identify and troubleshoot application defects.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for different applications, ensuring smooth deployment and operation of cloud-based solutions.
• Support projects/delivery teams on technical issues/solutions.
• Design and deliver end-to-end secure applications at infrastructure, application, and data levels.

Job Mode: Hybrid - 3 days onsite and 2 days remote in a week

• Improve infrastructure through automation - build/deploy/ rollback/provisioning/ forecast.
• Ability to use cloud native monitoring tools for application level insights and monitoring on Azure
• Implement and/or improve monitoring, dashboarding, and alerting systems.
• Establish and implement DevOps best practices working with other expert colleagues
• Identify and troubleshoot application defects.
• Implement and manage the CI/CD pipelines for different applications, ensuring smooth deployment and operation of cloud-based solutions
