Job summary

FHI, federatie van technologiebranches in the Netherlands, seeks a D&A Engineer to work on inductive components such as transformers, inductors, transformers and antennas for national and international high-tech customers.

You will be involved in the full design process—from customer specifications to production approval—fostering collaboration, cost awareness and manufacturability. A dynamic SME environment offers training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• HBO electrical engineering/electronics or HBO Physics is required.
• Proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel.
• Fluent in English and Dutch (speaking, reading, writing).
• Knowledge of Solidworks or FEM tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop inductive components such as high/low frequency transformers, high power inductors, transformers, antennas and electromagnets.
• Lead the design process with customers: create specifications, test, qualify and approve designs for production.
• Create workflow overviews and customer data sheets; consider manufacturability and cost aspects.
• Maintain good contacts with suppliers and partners to support development and production.
