Job summary

FHI, federatie van technologiebranches in the Netherlands is seeking a Technical Marketing Engineer who serves as the technical contact for Dutch customers and connects with our specialists in Germany and Japan. You will advise on high-tech solutions, help with configurations, and visit customers for technical consultations.

You identify opportunities at trade fairs, build strong relationships, coordinate activities, and contribute to market insights, planning, and product development.

Qualifications

• Completed HBO or WO degree in a technical field such as Physics, Electrical Engineering or Biophysics.
• Experience as a Technical Marketing Engineer or in a similar role.
• Affinity with optoelectronics, electronics, X-ray technology, life sciences, semiconductors or medical technology.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English.
• Willingness to travel within Europe.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the technical point of contact for Dutch customers and bridges to specialists in Germany and Japan.
• Advises clients on high-tech solutions and applications.
• Assists with product configurations and resolves technical issues.
• Visits customers throughout the Netherlands for technical consultations.
• Identifies new opportunities at trade fairs, conferences, and workshops.
• Builds strong client relationships and deepens existing collaborations.
• Coordinates all technical customer activities and ensures clear documentation.
• Provides input for market insights, planning, and product development.
