Clera seeks a customer-facing deployment leader to own end-to-end implementations for enterprise clients in Amsterdam. You will navigate complex stakeholder networks, translating business needs into actionable technical plans while aligning product, engineering, and growth teams for smoother deployments.
With 4–5+ years in deployment roles, you will leverage expertise in KYB/KYC/AML and fintech contexts to shape onboarding workflows and ensure repeatable processes across large accounts.
This is the customer- and stakeholder-facing half of a Forward Deployed Engineering function at a fintech identity infrastructure company, split deliberately between strategic deployment ownership and hands-on engineering execution. You'll own the end-to-end implementation experience for enterprise clients - ensuring they extract maximum value from the platform while channelling insights back to shape how the product is built and supported.
Partner with enterprise customers to design and execute tailored implementations from kickoff through go-live.
Manage stakeholder relationships across complex organisations with competing priorities.
Lead detailed project planning, keeping cross-functional teams aligned and on track throughout deployment.
Analyse customer requirements early, break them into actionable priorities, and communicate trade-offs clearly.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and growth teams to identify friction points and improve implementation processes.
Build documentation, playbooks, and tooling that make future deployments more scalable and repeatable.
4-5+ years of experience, with at least 3 years in customer-facing deployment, implementation, or solutions engineering roles delivering enterprise software.
Domain expertise in compliance (KYB/KYC/AML) or regulated onboarding is the strongest signal for this role - former Product Owners or Managers from fintech who ran onboarding or KYC workflows are a particularly strong fit.
Fintech, banking, or startup operating experience; consulting backgrounds are considered when paired with hands-on operating roles.
Proven project and stakeholder management skills in enterprise or B2B software environments, including scope management and cross-functional coordination.
Proficiency with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum) and tools such as Jira, Asana, or Monday.com.
Comfortable translating between technical and non-technical audiences without losing nuance.
Structured, systems-thinking mindset - you see how customer decisions ripple through product and operations.
Experience with SaaS or fintech products, identity platforms, or payment/financial infrastructure is a plus.
Familiarity with API integrations, data migration, or technical onboarding processes is advantageous.
Calm and effective in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with evolving processes and roadmaps.
Base salary range of €93,000-146,000 annually, with clearly defined levels and no individual salary negotiation - everyone at the same level is paid the same. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
On-site in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
