Senior IT Integrator / Project Manager - Mobile Onboarding Scale‑Up

Join a high-impact, multi-country digital transformation programme where you'll lead the scale‑up of a mature mobile onboarding journey into a new market. This is a rare opportunity to work on a fully digital customer-facing solution, influence architectural decisions, shape regulatory integrations (KYC, GDPR, DPIA), and help build a blueprint for expanding digital onboarding across multiple countries.

About the Role

As a Senior IT Integrator / Project Manager, you will drive the end-to-end delivery of a complex mobile onboarding journey as it expands to a new geography. Your mission is to ensure maximum reuse of the existing onboarding platform while seamlessly integrating country-specific modules and regulatory requirements.

You will coordinate work across multiple squads, tribes, architectural streams, program managers, and external vendors spanning several countries. This role requires both strategic oversight and deep operational execution to ensure compliance, technical quality, and on-time delivery.

You will be a key connector between Business, Architecture, Engineering, and Risk/Compliance, enabling fact-based decision‑making and removing impediments in a fast‑changing environment.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in large‑scale agile environments, enjoys navigating complexity, and excels at orchestrating multi‑country digital rollouts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full delivery lifecycle of the mobile onboarding scale‑up—from initiation and scoping through execution, testing, go‑live, and stabilization.
• Manage interdependencies across countries, squads, and external partners to meet ambitious delivery timelines.
• Coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams (IT, architecture, business, vendors) to ensure smooth integration of new KYC, product flow, and fulfillment modules.
• Embed regulatory requirements (KYC, GDPR, DPIA, data segregation) into the architecture and delivery approach.
• Oversee robust testing practices and ensure readiness through clear entry/exit criteria and alignment with IT risk guidelines.
• Facilitate steering committees, elevate issues early, and keep all stakeholders aligned on progress and decisions.
• Provide structured, insight‑driven reporting to senior leaders across countries.
• Drive continuous improvement around architecture, reusability, and long‑term scalability for multi‑country onboarding.
• Act as a thought partner to Value Stream Leads, Product Owners, and Integrators to strengthen the overall delivery framework.

Who You Are (About You)

• 10+ years' experience in IT program or project management within banking.
• Proven track record delivering multi-country customer-facing digital rollouts (preferably mobile onboarding or equivalent).
• Solid knowledge of banking onboarding processes, KYC, and digital customer journeys.
• Strong experience coordinating complex IT programmes end-to-end, including scoping, planning, delivery, testing, and stabilization.
• Excellent stakeholder management across senior, international, and cross-cultural groups, including steering committees.
• Ability to challenge, align, and translate technical decisions (APIs, orchestration layers, architecture, automated testing frameworks).
• Deep understanding of GDPR, KYC, DPIA, and IT risk management.
• Strong problem‑solving, prioritization, and decision-making skills—knowing when to go into detail and when to zoom out.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Experience at ING is a plus.
