Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics seeks a Deployment Engineer IT Operations Center to deploy software components at large warehouse customer systems from Veghel. You will coordinate with the Deployment Manager to define runbooks, assess risks, and execute deployments during service windows, while ensuring secure, stable operations and clear release documentation.

The role requires a technical degree, ITIL experience, and DevOps/automation familiarity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical and logistics field.
Experience in a service-oriented environment, supporting live customer systems according to ITIL standards.
Some years of working experience in special engineering and/or integration.
Good command of the English language and willingness to travel (25%).
Ability to decompose work into essential steps, and to create feasible planning for execution.
Ability to balance quality, lead time, and cost effectively.
Proactive and pragmatic problem-solving.
Ability to build good working relations with stakeholders.
Experience translating detailed technical documentation into risk insights and actionable deployment considerations.
Experience with SQL Developer, Apache Maven, JIRA /HP ALM, OP5, Flux, Bamboo, Docker, Git / BitBucket.
Experience in coding, scripting, or software development.

Responsibilities

Deploy and maintain software solutions across customer warehouse environments.
Execute upgrades, releases and patches during planned service windows.
Analyze deployment risks and prepare mitigation and rollback strategies.
Ensure stable, secure and uninterrupted system operations throughout the deployment lifecycle.
Develop and maintain deployment runbooks, release documentation and technical procedures.
Drive standardization and continuous improvement within deployment and IT operations processes.
Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver successful software releases.
Strengthen cybersecurity and compliance through secure deployment practices.
