Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics seeks a Service Integration Engineer to ensure stable, reliable operation of controls and application layers, bridging incident resolution with system integration. You will guide technical aspects, lead knowledge sharing, and maintain strong customer interaction to align with service excellence.

You will work across IT, Controls, and Operations, influence change, and drive improvements while maintaining proactive stakeholder communication and documenting solutions.

Service Integration Engineer
At a glance:

The Service Integration Engineer is responsible for ensuring the stable, reliable, and optimised operation of controls and application layers. The role bridges incident resolution, system integration, and continuous improvement. It ensures seamless interaction between controls, WCS/WMS applications, and operational processes. In addition, the Service Integration Engineer acts as a leading technical expert within the team, providing guidance, knowledge sharing, and technical leadership while maintaining strong customer interaction to ensure service excellence and business alignment.

Your impact:
  • Support colleagues to manage and resolve complex incidents across controls and application layers (ASRS, PLC, SCADA, WCS, interfaces)
  • Perform end-to-end root cause analysis across system components
  • Monitor system performance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Optimise controls logic, application configurations, and integrations
  • Ensure alignment between controls behaviour and application logic
  • Drive problem management and permanent fixes
  • Act as the leading technical expert within the team for controls, integrations, and application‑related issues
  • Provide technical coaching and knowledge transfer to colleagues
  • Maintain proactive customer interaction, ensuring clear communication during incidents, changes, and service improvements
  • Accountable Quality and effectiveness of incident resolution and improvements
  • Stability and performance of controls and application layers
  • Correct execution of change, problem, and release management
  • Sustainability and documentation of solutions
  • Technical leadership and knowledge development within the team
  • Customer satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery
  • Consult, advise on system risks and optimisations
  • Support decisions on configuration changes and integration design
  • Provide input during incident escalations, problem reviews, and changes
  • Act as a bridge between Controls, IT, and Application teams
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor for customers and internal stakeholders

  • This position offers a competitive salary range of €5000 to €6000 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
