Job summary

Vinted in Amsterdam is seeking a Data Analyst / Decision Scientist to join their Trust & Safety team. The role involves protecting the Vinted community by analyzing data to guide decision-making, drive product experimentation, and improve community protection strategies.

The ideal candidate will have over 3 years in data analytics, experience with SQL and Python, and a solid understanding of statistical methods. Vinted offers a hybrid working model and various perks including an annual growth budget and home office support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics or Decision Science.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of statistical methods including A/B testing.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and Python.
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau or Power BI.
• Enjoy working in iterative environments.
• Clear communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with product teams to guide decision-making with data.
• Drive product experimentation from hypothesis to analysis.
• Analyse moderation and reporting flows to uncover insights.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators.
• Build dashboards and self-service solutions for data access.
• Collaborate with other decision scientists to enhance analytics.
