Job summary

Vinted is seeking a Lead Decision Scientist to join the Area DSA team in Amsterdam. You will identify high-impact decisions across Pricing, Purchase & Order, shaping strategy and enabling scalable analytics.

You will partner with data peers, product directors, and domain leads to define OKRs, run experiments, and translate insights into actionable decisions. This role supports a hybrid work model with in-office days.

Qualifications

• Experience in Decision Science, Data Analytics, or Data Science roles.
• Strong analytical thinking with business impact focus.
• Statistical methods knowledge including A/B tests, regression, causal inference.
• Proficient in SQL and Python with reproducible code and BI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prioritise, and resolve high-impact Decision Science problems across Pricing, Purchase & Order.
• Engage leadership and stakeholders to validate priorities and measure trade-offs.
• Set standards for experimentation and decision-making across the scope.
• Ensure measurability of success for key Marketplace Product programs.
• Collaborate with domain leadership to align on OKRs and priorities.
• Possibly lead initiatives hands-on.
