Vinted Group is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the Detection Product team, building a Detection platform with streaming capabilities to protect the community from harmful activities. You will contribute to foundational capabilities, tackle complex technical challenges, and drive improvements in product, performance, and safety.

The role emphasizes collaboration, learning, and a strong engineering culture.

Qualifications

• Experience with data streaming frameworks (Flink, Spark Streaming, Kafka Streams) and JVM languages (Java).
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and automated testing.
• Understanding of agile development and modern software delivery lifecycles.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to building foundational capabilities for the Detection platform.
• Solve technical problems with large scope, complexity, and business impact.
• Identify impediments to team efficiency and implement solutions.
• Advocate for product, performance, and safety improvements.
