Surge Marine in Valkenburg, Netherlands, seeks an Electrical Engineer to bridge design and hands-on implementation for DC propulsion and power distribution. You will work closely with the Chief Engineer to validate electrical architectures and ensure robust integration on marine platforms.

The role requires practical problem-solving, hands-on wiring, and test bench work, with collaboration across the systems automation team in a fast-growing startup environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience interpreting electrical schematics.
• Experience wiring and configuring DC test benches for motors.
• Strong foundation in electrical engineering principles.
• Ability to own testing and integration lifecycle in a startup.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and connect electrical test benches for DC motors.
• Execute wiring, integration and troubleshooting of propulsion and power systems.
• Read and refine electrical schematics to ensure safe assembly.
• Work with automation engineers to integrate power, control, and remote operation hardware.
