Van Storm Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer (Marine & Offshore) in the Netherlands. In this pivotal role, you'll design and engineer complex electrical systems for maritime projects, ensuring that all systems are documented and ready for execution. Collaborate closely with project managers and commissioning engineers to transition smoothly from design to implementation.
Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, 5 years of relevant experience, and skills in AutoCAD and EPLAN. Benefits include 38 paid holidays, business travel insurance, and support for housing search.
As an Electrical Systems Engineer (Marine & Offshore), you will focus on the design and engineering of complex electrical systems used in maritime and offshore projects. You will translate functional requirements into clear, structured, and practical technical solutions that can be efficiently implemented and commissioned.
You will play a key role in the early and middle phases of projects, ensuring that all systems are technically sound, well-documented, and ready for execution. Working closely with project managers and commissioning engineers, you will help bridge the gap between engineering and real-world application.
This role sits at the core of the engineering process. Before any installation is built or tested, it starts with a solid and reliable design. You will be working in an environment where engineering, craftsmanship, and international collaboration come together. Projects are delivered both locally and globally, with installations designed in the Netherlands and implemented at shipyards across Europe and Asia.
