Metyis is growing! We are looking for a Data Engineering Associate with 3 - 6 years of experience for a full-time position to join our Data and Analytics team in Amsterdam.

You will engineer complete technical solutions to solve business challenges in digital marketing, e-commerce, BI, and self-service analytics, while collaborating with data scientists, strategy consultants and stakeholders. You’ll design and build production ETL/ELT pipelines, data lakes, and near real-time data hubs, and

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in data analytics.
• Understanding of data warehousing principles (ODS, data marts, data lakes, data vault, 3NF).
• Advanced SQL, data transformation and data profiling skills.
• Experience building production ETL/ELT pipelines at scale.
• 1-2 years hands-on Azure: Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, Functions, streaming.
• Experience with Airflow and Kubernetes.
• Programming languages: Python (PySpark), Bash scripts.
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD and Docker.
• Basic knowledge of PowerBI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engineer complete technical solutions for digital marketing, e-commerce, BI, and self-service analytics.
• Collect functional and non-functional requirements considering environments and constraints.
• Support clients in executing Big Data strategies by designing and building data platforms (ETL/ELT pipelines, data lakes, streaming).
• Collaborate with partners, strategy consultants, and data scientists in an agile setting.
• Share data engineering knowledge through training.
• Guide and mentor team members.
