Job summary

Metyis is seeking a data engineer to design and build scalable data platforms across digital marketing, e‑commerce and BI domains. You will work with data scientists and strategy consultants to translate business needs into robust data pipelines.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in data analytics.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts (ODS, data marts, data lakes, data vault, 3NF).
• Advanced SQL and data transformation skills.
• Experience building production ETL/ELT pipelines at scale.
• 1–2 years hands-on Azure: Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, Functions, streaming.
• Experience with Airflow and Kubernetes.
• Git, CI/CD and Docker knowledge.
• Power BI knowledge is a plus.
• Strong problem solving and ability to convey designs clearly.
• Bachelor's in CS/Math/Engineering or related; Master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engineer complete technical solutions for digital marketing, e‑commerce, BI, and self-service analytics.
• Gather requirements, consider environments, constraints, and enterprise needs.
• Design and build operational data platforms: ETL pipelines, anonymization, data lakes, streaming hubs, web services, ML training and scoring.
• Collaborate with partners, strategy consultants, and data scientists in a flat, agile org.
• Share data engineering knowledge via technical training.
• Guide and mentor team members.
