Job summary

PostNL in the Netherlands is looking for a Data Engineer to create data products powering insights, dashboards and algorithms across the IT for IT domain. You will design, build and maintain data products from ingestion to delivery, ensuring reliability and reusability for reporting and analytics.

You’ll join the central data team, work with Databricks and dbt, and help shape a new data engineering capability for the domain, including ELT/ETL pipelines and scalable data models.

Qualifications

• Higher vocational or university degree relevant to data engineering.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong SQL skills and experience designing reusable data products using dimensional modelling.
• Hands-on experience with dbt and/or Databricks and building ELT/ETL pipelines in production environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code, preferably within AWS environments.
