Job summary

Damen Naval is seeking a Data Engineer to design and maintain data infrastructure enabling data-driven decisions across the organization. You will develop ETL processes, build data models, and ensure data reliability for engineering and operations.

You'll work with SSIS/SSAS and Power BI on-prem in a dynamic, multinational environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Dutch language skills are a plus. Security screening applies.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science or related field.
• Strong data engineering principles, data modeling, and database design.
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes and optimization techniques.
• Experience with SSIS, SSAS and Power BI Report Server stack on-premise.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data infrastructure to connect, organize, and unlock data across the organization.
• Develop and deploy ETL processes and data pipelines (e.g., SQL Server).
• Build and optimize data models and queries; ensure data quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to embed data solutions into business processes.
• Document ETL processes, data models, configurations for knowledge sharing.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to knowledge sharing.
