Job summary

Salute is a leading provider of mission-critical data centre infrastructure services, supporting hyperscale and enterprise clients across Europe. We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to support our Dutch operations and wider EMEA portfolio.

As an on-site EHS professional, you will work with operations, contractors and clients to ensure safe practices in live data centre environments. You will drive compliance with Dutch Arbowet, ISO 45001/45003 and Salute policies, with regular

Qualifications

• MVK qualification (or actively studying HVK) or NEBOSH General Certificate/Diploma.
• 2–3 years’ experience in an EHS advisory or officer role.
• Experience with Arbowet, RI&E, and contractor safety management.
• Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly across the EU.
• Experience in a data centre or mission-critical environment.
• Electrical safety experience.
• ISO 45001 / ISO 45003 knowledge or implementation experience.
• First Aid and Fire Marshal certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct task-based risk assessments and support the RI&E process.
• Maintain compliance with Dutch EHS legislation and client requirements.
• Promote a strong safety culture among employees, vendors and contractors.
• Support implementation and improvement of EHS management systems (ISO 45001/45003).
• Investigate incidents, near-misses and unsafe conditions; implement corrective actions.
• Maintain records of incidents, actions and follow-up activities.
• Provide management with trends and safety reports.
• Conduct regular site inspections in live data centre environments.
• Support permit-to-work systems including electrical safety and LOTO.
• Provide guidance on electrical safety and safe systems of work.
• Identify safety concerns affecting people or client infrastructure.
