Job summary

PE Global is recruiting an EHS Advisor for our Amsterdam project. The role focuses on implementing Environmental, Health & Safety practices on site, ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting a strong safety culture across the project. Candidates must have EU/UK passport or valid working visa; visa sponsorship or relocation is not offered.

This full-time position involves working a shift rotational roster with flights, accommodation, transport, and weekly NET subsistence income covered.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, or similar discipline.
• Minimum 2-5 years' experience in an EHS role within construction or engineering.
• Good knowledge of health & safety legislation, standards, and best practices.
• Experience supporting EHS activities on construction sites.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to engage with site teams and promote safe working practices.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent) are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of Environmental, Health & Safety policies and procedures across the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health & safety standards and identify hazards.
• Assist in risk assessments and reviewing RAMS.
• Monitor subcontractor activities to ensure safety requirements.
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Promote strong safety culture through engagement with site teams and subcontractors.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions.
• Ensure EHS documentation is maintained and up to date.
• Attend Site Meetings, Safety Meetings, and Toolbox Talks.
• Assist in preparing EHS reports and safety performance metrics.
• Advise project teams on health & safety best practices and compliance.
