Job summary

Neways Cable & Wire Solutions Echt is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer to be the primary contact for customers when quality complaints arise. You own the complete complaint process from start to finish, coordinating with NCWS and NSK Slovakia, requesting RCAs, and translating results into clear communication.

You will work with Account Engineering in the Customer Focus Team, manage multiple cases, support RFQs and order acceptance, and contribute to structural quality improvements while

Qualifications

• HBO level working and thinking; technical degree is an advantage, but experience and learning agility matter
• Experience in customer contact, complaint management, or coordinating roles is a strong plus
• Knowledge of quality methodologies such as 8D and FMEA, or willingness to learn them quickly
• Strong organisational skills to prioritise, structure, and follow up multiple cases
• Understanding of the link between quality, logistics, and manufacturing processes
• Excellent communication, proactive mindset, and ability to connect with customers and colleagues
• Good command of English; Dutch preferred/required for some teams; German is a plus
• Experience in a demanding high-tech customer environment (e.g., ASML ecosystem) is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Assessing, accepting, registering, and coordinating customer complaints
• Coordinating complaints within NCWS and with NSK Slovakia
• Managing multiple complaints simultaneously while monitoring progress, actions, and deadlines
• Acting as the primary customer contact throughout the process
• Requesting and following up RCAs and corrective actions from internal teams, suppliers, and NSK
• Coordinating technical resolutions with Account Engineering and other disciplines in the CFT
• Preparing, conducting, and following up customer audits and providing quality input for Business Reviews
• Monitoring customer-specific quality requirements and supporting NPI
• Supporting RFQs, proposals, order acceptance, and contract discussions by aligning quality requirements with capabilities and competences
• Contributing to structural quality improvements and translating lessons learned into processes
