Huisman in Schiedam is looking for a Corporate Recruiter to manage the full recruitment cycle across multiple disciplines, acting as a trusted business partner and driving impact in a family-owned, global organization.

You will craft vacancies, source candidates, conduct interviews, and guide offers through to onboarding, ensuring a professional candidate experience and alignment with internal frameworks.

Qualificações

• Approximately 7 years of recruitment experience.
• Experience managing end-to-end recruitment from intake to offer.
• Strong sourcing skills, especially via LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Experience with supplier management and contractor hiring.
• Commercial awareness and negotiating offers and terms.
• Fluent Dutch and English; experience with ATS systems (Talentsoft advantageous).

About The Position Of Corporate Recruiter

As Corporate Recruiter, you are responsible for the entire recruitment process, from intake through to onboarding. You independently manage multiple vacancies across different disciplines and target groups and adapt flexibly as recruitment needs change.

You operate as a trusted sparring partner for the business. Through a thorough intake with the hiring manager, you understand the need, priority and rationale behind a recruitment request and critically assess what is really required in terms of profile, experience, salary level and availability.

You write and publish vacancies, actively source candidates through LinkedIn and other channels, and take full ownership of the initial selection. You review CVs and applications, conduct candidate interviews and decide which candidates to present to the hiring manager. You then manage the entire process, from interviews through to assessments, case studies and feedback. You assess salary expectations against our internal frameworks, negotiate offers and, once an agreement has been reached, ensure a smooth handover to HR Support. Throughout the process, you keep candidates and hiring managers well informed, keep the ATS up to date and ensure a professional candidate experience.

External recruitment and contingent hiring are also part of your remit. You manage recruitment partners and suppliers and oversee recruitment & selection, secondment, temp-to-perm arrangements, external hiring and transfers to direct employment. You negotiate rates, fees, terms and transfer arrangements, assess different contractual and hiring structures, and monitor agreements, costs and added value.

In addition, you actively promote Huisman and our vacancies, for example via LinkedIn, and contribute to improving recruitment processes and bringing structure where needed.

What do we expect of you?

You are a confident business partner who does more than simply execute: you advise and manage expectations. You are hands‑on, independent, decisive, results‑oriented and pragmatic. You are persuasive, well organised, able to switch quickly between different stakeholders and comfortable adapting when priorities change.

You feel at home in an organisation where processes are not always fully developed or documented. You work independently and in a process‑oriented way, maintain oversight and bring structure to your own area of responsibility. Experience working within a family‑owned business, with an understanding of its dynamics, short lines of communication, informal decision‑making and differing interests, is an advantage.

You Have

• At least approximately 7 years of relevant recruitment experience, preferably as a Corporate Recruiter or experienced Recruitment Consultant;
• Experience independently managing recruitment processes from intake through to offer, across different roles and levels of seniority;
• Strong sourcing skills, particularly using LinkedIn Recruiter/search. Experience recruiting technical and/or specialist professionals is an advantage;
• Experience in supplier management, external hiring, secondment, temp-to-perm and recruitment & selection, preferably including freelance/contractor hiring arrangements;
• Commercial awareness and experience negotiating both candidate offers and rates, fees and terms;
• A good command of Dutch and English, as well as experience working with ATS systems. Experience with Talentsoft would be an advantage.

Some Practical Things We Need You To Have

• A valid EU passport or a valid work permit for the Netherlands;
• A strong command of both Dutch and English, verbally and in writing.
