Job summary

NH Hotels & Resorts in Amsterdam is seeking an experienced Cook to plan, prepare and cook buffets and à la carte menus, and to advise guests at the buffet and in the dining areas. You may work independently or as part of a team, following hotel recipes or your own creations, while handling stock planning and ingredient orders.

Applicants should be stress resilient with prior restaurant/hotel experience, good English, and Dutch as an advantage.

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant or hotel environment.
• Able to work independently or in a team.
• Good command of English; Dutch is an advantage.
• Passion to share kitchen knowledge with colleagues.

Your Role at a Glance

As a Cook you work independently or in a team and you are responsible for the preparation of dishes according to hotel recipes or according to your own recipes. In addition, you are responsible for planning your daily activities and ordering ingredients and other stock replenishments. You follow the health & safety regulations and are responsible for cleaning your own workstation. Are you stress resilient, and do you have relevant work experience?
