Job summary

Minor Hotels Europe & Americas is seeking a professional Cook to join our Amsterdam team. In a dynamic kitchen, you will prepare high-quality dishes for buffet and à la carte service while maintaining food safety, cleanliness and organization.

You will work closely with colleagues in a fast-paced environment, delivering warm hospitality and consistent guest experiences, with opportunities to grow within Minor Hotels worldwide.

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant or hotel environment.
• Passion for cooking and hospitality.
• Enjoy fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure.
• Good command of English; Dutch is an advantage.

As a Cook, you are responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes for both our buffet and à la carte service. You organize your daily tasks efficiently, monitor stock levels, and order ingredients when needed to keep the kitchen running smoothly.

Working closely with your colleagues, you help maintain a positive and professional kitchen environment where teamwork and quality go hand in hand. You follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times and take pride in keeping your workstation clean and organized. No two days are the same, and your ability to stay calm under pressure, adapt quickly, and maintain high standards make all the difference.
