Job summary

NH Hotels & Resorts in Groningen, NL is seeking a Cook to join our team. You will plan, prepare and cook buffets and à la carte dishes, and assist guests at the buffet and in the restaurant.

Work independently or with a team, manage daily prep and ordering, and ensure health and safety standards. The role welcomes guest-focused, detail-oriented professionals with hospitality experience.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience and a customer-focused mindset.
• Able to work independently or in a team.
• Willingness to learn and share kitchen knowledge.
• Good command of the Dutch language; additional languages a plus.
• Experience in a restaurant or hotel environment.

As a Cook, you will be responsible for planning, preparing and cooking buffets and à la carte menus as well as looking after and advising guests at the buffet and in the à la carte business.

Your Role at a Glance

As a Cook you work independently or in a team and you are responsible for the preparation of dishes according to hotel recipes or according to your own recipes. In addition, you are responsible for planning your daily activities and ordering ingredients and other stock replenishments. You follow the health & safety regulations and are responsible for cleaning your own workstation. Are you stress resilient, and do you have relevant work experience?
