Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd urgently seeks a senior Mechanical Contracts Manager for a rapidly growing mechanical subcontractor operating across data centre and mission-critical projects in the Netherlands. You will own major mechanical packages from pre-construction to final accounts, delivering safely, commercially and to programme.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical building services background with HVAC/cooling/pipework bias.
• Proven experience with a mechanical subcontractor or specialist M&E contractor.
• Experience managing mechanical contracts or large-value packages.
• Strong understanding of contract administration, variations, valuations, procurement and final accounts.
• Experience delivering projects in data centres, pharma, industrial or mission-critical environments.
• Proven ability to manage relationships with principal contractors, clients, suppliers and internal teams.
• Track record of delivering complex mechanical packages in fast-paced construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Take commercial and operational ownership of major mechanical packages from pre-construction through to final account.
• Manage contract administration, variations, valuations, applications for payment and commercial reporting.
• Identify and manage commercial risks, opportunities, early warnings and potential variations.

Take on the role of Contracts Manager with a rapidly growing mechanical subcontractor operating across the data centre and mission-critical construction sector. This is a senior commercial and operational position, offering the opportunity to take ownership of major mechanical packages on high-value projects, with a clear route into senior management.

Reporting directly into senior leadership, you will take responsibility for the successful commercial and operational delivery of mechanical contracts from pre-construction and procurement through to completion, commissioning and final account.

You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, commercially and to programme, while maintaining strong relationships with clients, principal contractors, suppliers and internal delivery teams. This is a hands‑on role where your ability to manage contracts, identify commercial opportunities, control risk and drive delivery will be critical.

Your Role as a Mechanical Contracts Manager Will Include:

As a Mechanical Contracts Manager, You Will Have:
