Trinamics is seeking an International Commissioning Engineer to deliver testing and commissioning of electrical power distribution systems on large-scale data center projects across EMEA. You will coordinate teams, act as the on-site technical representative, and lead commissioning efforts with a focus on safety and quality.

Requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, hands-on switchgear and substation testing experience, and willingness to travel internationally for extended

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering / Power Engineering, or MBO+ with substantial relevant experience.
• Proven hands-on experience with testing and commissioning switchgear and substations – this is a hard requirement.
• Strong knowledge of MV/LV switchgear, substations, transformers, protection relays, CTs/VTs, automation and control systems.
• Experience with testing methods such as primary/secondary injection, insulation resistance, HiPot, ductor testing and functional testing.
• Experience in data centers, energy, utilities or a similar environment is a strong advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Verify installations against technical specifications and performance requirements.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate their resolution.

Are you an experienced electrical commissioning engineer looking for an international role? As an International Commissioning Engineer, you will work on large-scale data center projects across EMEA. You will be responsible for testing, commissioning and technically delivering electrical power distribution systems, including medium- and low-voltage switchgear and substations.

You will work independently on smaller projects and coordinate commissioning teams on larger projects. Extensive international travel is part of the role.

What we expect from you

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering / Power Engineering, or MBO+ with substantial relevant experience.
• Proven hands‑on experience with testing and commissioning switchgear and substations – this is a hard requirement.
• Strong knowledge of MV/LV switchgear, substations, transformers, protection relays, CTs/VTs, automation and control systems.
• Experience with testing methods such as primary/secondary injection, insulation resistance, HiPot, ductor testing and functional testing.
• Experience in data centers, energy, utilities or a similar environment is a strong advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a safety‑focused, hands‑on mentality.
• Willingness to travel and work abroad for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license.
• EU nationality.
