Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in cold store warehousing across the Netherlands. The role is hybrid and field-based, focusing on building new business, expanding strategic accounts, and delivering tailored temperature-controlled warehousing solutions.

You will collaborate with operations and commercial teams to create value for customers, manage tender processes, and expand market share. Fluent English is required; Dutch language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in B2B logistics sales and business development
• Strong knowledge of cold storage warehousing and temperature-controlled logistics
• Demonstrated success in winning new business and growing key accounts
• Experience managing complex sales cycles and tender processes
• Strong commercial acumen and consultative selling skills
• Ability to build relationships at multiple stakeholder levels
• Knowledge of the European logistics landscape is highly desirable
• Fluent English required; Dutch is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Drive new business development across cold storage warehousing services
• Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers
• Identify, qualify, and convert sales opportunities into long-term partnerships
• Manage inbound enquiries, RFQs, and formal tender processes
• Develop tailored warehousing and supply chain solutions based on customer requirements
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive business development activity
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure exceptional customer delivery
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasting
