Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Conservatorium Amsterdam is seeking a Chef de Partie to join Taiko Team, a luxury dining concept in the heart of Amsterdam. You will supervise a designated kitchen section, ensure precise execution of recipes, and uphold the highest hygiene and cost-control standards.

The role requires two years in a similar position, a passion for quality cooking, and the ability to thrive in a multinational team. English proficiency and flexibility for evenings and weekends are essential.

Qualifications

  • Recent/current experience in the same position to that of Chef de Partie for at least two years.
  • A passionate and quality-driven approach to cooking.
  • Works well within a multinational team.
  • Good knowledge of English language (written and spoken).
  • Familiar with hygiene code and HACCP regulations.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

  • You will be supervising the day-to-day operation of a designated section within the kitchen, overseeing all aspects of food production.
  • Delivering highest levels of quality and precision, preparing dishes in line with recipes and standards.
  • Maintaining highest levels of hygiene and cost control.
  • You will act as a role model and mentor to the junior members in the kitchen brigade, guiding and supporting them in your development.

As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for the following duties:
