Job summary

Zoku, based in Amsterdam, is seeking a Chef de Partie to join its Living Kitchen. You will prepare and plate dishes with creativity, ensure fast, fresh, and visually appealing plates, and keep open kitchen standards high.

You’ll work a 40-hour week over five days, with shifts that cover breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner in a vibrant, community-driven hotel kitchen. English fluency and HACCP knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• You have working experience in a Chef (Chef de Partie) position.
• Experience with implementing local HACCP guidelines.
• Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plate dishes from the Living Kitchen, ensuring presentation and taste.
• Support open kitchen operations and maintain high standards during service.
• Collaborate with kitchen, front of house and wider Zoku team to deliver a smooth service.
• Follow food safety guidelines and ensure consistency across a fast-paced service.
