Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts in Amsterdam is seeking a Chef de Partie to uphold high culinary standards and contribute to exceptional dining experiences at Royal98, our concept restaurant in the heart of the city. You will manage a kitchen station, ensure quality output, and support the team to deliver memorable meals.

The role requires 2–3 years of experience in a similar environment, fluency in English, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of Mediterranean or Italian cuisine is advantageous.
• Excellent culinary techniques and food preparation skills.
• Thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Experience in operating and maintaining professional kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality output.
• Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to Royal98's standards and menu specifications.
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients to minimize waste.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment in line with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Adapt to fast-paced situations during peak service hours.
• Collaborate with Head Chef and Sous Chef in menu planning and recipe development.
