Generator Amsterdam is seeking an exceptional Chef de Partie to join our Kitchen team. You will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef, prepare and present dishes within your speciality, and help maintain brand standards in a fast-paced, vibrant setting.

We value creativity, a cool head under pressure, and a people person who loves great food. Eligible to work in the EU and ready to train and lead commis when needed. Compensation discussed upon application.

Qualifications

• Experience in the food industry in a similar role.
• Interest and enthusiasm for food and service.
• Passion for trending food concepts locally and elsewhere.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to the Head Chef/Sous Chef to ensure smooth running of foodservice operations.
• Create high quality food to meet guest expectations and maintain standards.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and provide service to the required level.
• Prepare, cook and present dishes within your speciality.
• Manage and train any commis working with you.
• Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
• Input to the Head Chef on menu creativity and innovative offerings.
