Job summary

De L'Europe Amsterdam is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our Main Kitchen and Staff Restaurant, taking ownership, thriving in a dynamic kitchen, and delivering the high standards our guests expect.

You will handle mise-en-place through to service, contribute to daily staff meals and varied menus, collaborate with teams, place orders, and help implement new dishes while adhering to HACCP guidelines.

What You'll Do

As a Chef de Partie at De L'Europe Amsterdam, you will work within a diverse and dynamic kitchen operation. You will be responsible for preparing dishes with skill and precision, from mise-en-place through to final service, ensuring that your daily responsibilities run smoothly and efficiently.

Within the Staff Restaurant, you will contribute to preparing daily meals for our colleagues. You will help create varied menus, ensure excellent preparation and presentation, and know how to combine quality and flavour with an efficient way of working. You enjoy preparing dishes that cater to different preferences and dietary needs and contribute to making sure our colleagues can enjoy a great meal every day.

In addition, you will support the Main Kitchen where needed and work closely with the different kitchen teams. You will place orders based on recipes and planning, assist with implementing new dishes and actively contribute ideas for improvements. You will share your knowledge with colleagues and play an important role in the daily kitchen operation.

Naturally, you will always work in accordance with HACCP guidelines. Quality, hygiene and safety are never up for discussion.

• A passion for luxury hospitality and high-quality gastronomy.
• Experience preparing meals for larger groups, for example within a staff restaurant, corporate restaurant or banqueting environment.
• Experience training and mentoring junior kitchen staff.
• Experience within a hotel, fine-dining restaurant or high-end brasserie.
• Creativity in developing varied menus and using ingredients efficiently.
