Job summary

Axces Group is seeking a CFD Analysis Engineer to quantify noise, back‑pressure and flow in silencers and exhaust lines. You will build and run CFD models of silencers, SCR reactors and exhaust lines, and translate results into clear recommendations for the design team.

You will optimise the trade‑offs across real load profiles, maintain validated workflows, compare predictions with shop and field data, and contribute to a collaborative, cross‑disciplinary engineering effort across marine, power

Qualifications

• MSc in Mechanical, Aerospace or related engineering.
• 3+ years of hands-on CFD.
• Fluent in English; Dutch welcome but not required.
• Acoustic CFD or aeroacoustics experience is a strong plus.
• Ability to explain results to non-specialists.

Responsibilities

• Build and run CFD models of silencers, SCR reactors and complete exhaust lines.
• Optimise the trade-off between noise attenuation, back-pressure and flow distribution across real load profiles.
• Model mixing and ammonia distribution upstream of SCR catalyst beds.
• Translate results into clear recommendations for the design team and into performance values we commit to.
• Build and maintain validated modelling workflows so results stay consistent and repeatable.
• Compare predictions against shop and field measurements, and close the loop on the models.
