Job summary

Oxford Global Resources in Maastricht is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Team Lead to direct a 15-person Biotech Team in cell therapy manufacturing within a GMP environment. You will coach, mentor, and be present on the production floor to drive safety, quality, and throughput.

The role requires hands-on GMP manufacturing expertise, aseptic processes, and strong communication to coordinate with QA, QC, and Manufacturing Compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership in cell therapy, ATMP, biotech or other GMP-regulated manufacturing
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences or related field
• Hands-on GMP manufacturing experience
• Strong understanding of aseptic manufacturing, GMP regulations and quality systems
• Experience managing investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and manufacturing documentation
• Confident leader with coaching, communication, and decision-making skills
• Able to balance operational priorities while developing a high-performing team
• Excellent command of English
• Willing to work in a 5-shift schedule (evenings, nights, weekends)

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of ~15 Biotech Associates in cell therapy manufacturing
• Provide day-to-day operational leadership with a visible floor presence
• Coordinate with Production Team Leads to maintain 24/7 manufacturing operations
• Drive timely completion of documentation, investigations, deviations, and batch closures
• Ensure GMP compliance, product quality, and operational safety
• Support the team with technical and operational challenges during manufacturing
• Collaborate with QA, QC, and Manufacturing Compliance for improvements
• Foster a positive team culture focused on accountability and development
• Work in a 6-shift rotation including evenings, nights and weekends
