Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb Leiden is seeking a Manager, Manufacturing, Cell Therapy to lead a manufacturing team in our Leiden facility. This hands-on role combines people leadership with technical oversight to ensure safe, compliant, on-schedule operations.

You will coach staff on the floor, manage production metrics, support cGMP compliance, and collaborate with QA, MSAT and Supply Chain to deliver high-quality cell therapies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cGMP cell therapy manufacturing.
• At least 1 year of team leadership or equivalent.
• Solid knowledge of cGMP regulations and manufacturing systems.
• Experience in aseptic processing and cell handling in BSL-2/ML-1 environments.
• HBO or equivalent required for Netherlands-based role.

Responsibilities

• Lead a manufacturing team on the floor, coaching in real time and ensuring on-time, first-time-right execution.
• Manage people, capacity, and scheduling for your area while maintaining a safe and compliant environment.
• Drive deviations, change controls, and GMP documentation; support audits and Health Authority readiness.
• Collaborate with Quality, MSAT, Supply Chain & Logistics, Facilities & Engineering, IT, and EHS&S to resolve issues and deliver the schedule.
