Job summary

NOV is seeking a Production Planner to organize resources, personnel, and materials across production cells to ensure timely delivery of customer orders. Responsibilities

• Translate the master build plan into an optimal schedule for available resources (production activities, machine capacity, personnel, materials, and equipment).
• Break down production orders across work centers by analyzing required activities, number of machines, personnel, and material requirements.
• Convert the master plan into production and assembly schedules for each work center, considering delivery dates and resource availability.
• Identify problems and shortages within the Cell Support Team and propose solutions.
• Inform relevant departments and communicate possible solutions (e.g., partial deliveries or delays).
• Monitor expected delivery dates and adjust schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
