Job summary

NTS Hengelo is seeking a Production Planner to optimize medium- and long-term capacity planning. You will align lead times, delivery dates, and priorities with customer contracts, working with Production Management, Procurement, and Sales.

Regular shop floor presence and a data-driven approach are essential to prevent bottlenecks and keep production flowing smoothly. You’ll use ERP to manage planning, monitor progress, and spearhead improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s HBO in Logistics, SCM or a related field.
Experience with ERP systems; Infor LN is a big plus.
Strong Dutch and English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Excellent Excel skills and a structured, data-driven work style.
Willingness to actively step onto the shop floor to understand production processes.

Responsibilities

Set up, monitor, and optimize the planning process in the ERP system for production orders.
Plan and manage long-term capacity and material supply to prepare production and purchasing directions.
Assess and monitor rush orders, initiating changes or accelerations as needed.
Analyze weekly schedules and advise management on bottlenecks and solutions.
Influence production parameters to guarantee delivery reliability.
Be present on the shop floor to ensure planning aligns with operations.
