Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services, Inc. is seeking a Tracing Employee at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. You will trace cargo, investigate irregularities, and manage cases from warehouse checks to system verification.

You will monitor inventory daily, coordinate with departments, and maintain case files while supporting customers and authorities. This 24/7 role requires irregular shifts and a service‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum MBO working and thinking level or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of work experience within air cargo.
• Knowledge of air cargo processes.
• Experience with Cargospot is an advantage.
• Good command of both Dutch and English, verbally and in writing.
• Good knowledge of Outlook.
• Accurate, systematic and able to maintain a clear overview.
• Service-oriented with a practical, no-nonsense mentality.
• Persistent and solution-oriented when investigating irregularities.
• Able to work independently and communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
• Willingness to work irregular shifts.

Responsibilities

• Trace cargo when irregularities occur during transport or storage and investigate cases.
• Perform warehouse checks and use digital systems; physically locate and verify cargo when needed.
• Gather information and maintain contact with customers, authorities, shippers, consignees and internal departments.
• Monitor physical and system inventory daily; coordinate actions for discrepancies.
• Compile case files, monitor progress, and maintain an overview of outstanding irregularities.
• Work in a 24/7 operation requiring irregular shifts.
