Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services, Inc. at Schiphol is seeking a Special Cargo Agent to ensure safe handling of all forms of special cargo, including dangerous goods, live animals, and pharmaceuticals.

You will perform acceptance checks, verify packaging and documentation, stop shipments when needed, coordinate with stakeholders, and support warehouse and cargo office teams while adhering to IATA and regulatory requirements. Morning, afternoon and night shifts available.

Qualifications

• MBO level 3 qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in cargo office or logistics environment.
• At least 1 year of experience with special cargo.
• Experience with dangerous goods, pharmaceuticals and/or live animals per IATA regulations.
• Accurate, able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Handle all forms of special cargo safely and correctly (DG, live animals, pharmaceuticals).
• Ensure acceptance checks, packaging, labeling, documentation per IATA and regulations.
• Stop shipments that do not meet requirements and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Prepare incident reports for rejected shipments and release compliant shipments.
• Monitor storage locations and support warehouse and cargo office teams.
