Job summary

The Amsterdam International Community School (AICS), part of Esprit Scholen, is seeking a Caretaker to support students and staff daily, ensuring buildings are safe, clean and well maintained. You will handle tasks from small repairs and safety issues to event support and closing the building, joining the Emergency Response Team (BHV).

This is a 0.8 to 1.0 FTE temporary contract with the possibility of a permanent position.

About the position

As a Caretaker you play a vital role in supporting our students and staff on a day to day basis. Together with the other caretakers you take care of our buildings and are responsible for a wide array of tasks such as small repairs, solving (safety) issues, support during events, closing the building etc. With your team you keep the buildings and surroundings in a good, clean and safe condition and you are part of our Emergency Response Team (BHV).

• Salary in scale 4, based upon knowledge and experience (min. € 2.554,- max. € 3.309,- full-time per month, before tax).
