Amsterdam International Community School (AICS) in Amsterdam is seeking a flexible Caretaker to support students and staff, maintain buildings, and help with events.

You will perform small repairs, address safety issues, close the building, and participate in emergencies (BHV). The role offers a temporary 0.8–1.0 FTE contract with potential for permanence, with a generous benefits package and a focus on work-life balance.

About us

About the position

As a Caretaker you play a vital role in supporting our students and staff on a day to day basis. Together with the other caretakers you take care of our buildings and are responsible for a wide array of tasks such as small repairs, solving (safety) issues, support during events, closing the building, etc. With your team you keep the buildings and surroundings in a good, clean and safe condition and you are part of our Emergency Response Team (BHV).

• Salary in scale 4, based upon knowledge and experience (min. € 2.554,- max. € 3.309,- full‑time per month, before tax).
