Job summary

AFS Energy in Amsterdam is seeking a Sales Trader to build a client base across the EU ETS sector and help drive growth on the trading floor. You will onboard clients to our Viridian system, generate active order flow, and pursue outbound outreach to expand portfolio value while tracking market dynamics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic level.
• 0–3 years of commercial track record (e.g., Sales Trading, Brokering, or Business Development).
• Full professional proficiency in English and Greek.
• High energy, resilient, and self-driven; you embrace commercial targets and closing deals.

Responsibilities

• Client Acquisition: Drive portfolio growth by identifying prospects, executing direct phone outreach, networking at events, and arranging meetings.
• Onboarding & Execution: Onboard accounts to Viridian, generate active order flow, and execute compliant market transactions.
• Account Expansion: Maximize client lifetime value by pitching complementary solutions from the environmental product portfolio.
• Pipeline Management & Research: Maintain CRM activity and monitor EU ETS dynamics, regulatory changes, and competition.
