Job summary

AFS Energy on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange trading floor is looking for a Sales Trader to grow our EU ETS client base with a strong B2B focus. You will drive your own business growth, onboard corporate clients to our Viridian platform, and execute market transactions.

The role demands resilience, energy, and a proven ability to close deals. Fluency in Spanish and English is essential for daily operations, and you will thrive in a competitive, target-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field.
• 0–3 years of commercial track record (B2B sales, brokering, or business development).
• Fluency in Spanish and English required for daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Identify and onboard corporate clients subject to EU ETS compliance.
• Guide new accounts onto our execution platform (Viridian) and build active order flow.
• Expand existing accounts by cross-selling products from AFS Energy.
• Monitor EU ETS regulatory updates and price trends; keep CRM up to date.
